Tom Warrington

Tom is a commercially focused tax lawyer with experience dealing with Australian Federal and State tax matters for both domestic and international clients. Tom is passionate about providing detailed, cost-effective and strategic advice to his clients. Prior to joining Velocity Legal, Tom was a tax advisor at a national accounting and advisory firm.

Tom holds a Bachelor of Laws (Honours) and a Bachelor of Economics from the University of Tasmania.

Outside of work, Tom enjoys playing golf and supporting the Bombers.

• Tax advice in relation to a wide range of matters concerning capital gains tax (CGT), small business CGT concessions, payroll tax, superannuation, and cross-border tax issues.
• Advising on tax residency matters, including drafting private binding rulings and reasonably arguable position papers.
• Advising on the tax implications of employee incentive programs for Australian and international private and public companies.
